THE COAST REGION
The Coast region, is located
between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, this region has two streams
as the cold current of El Niño and the warm current of Humboldt this coastal
region consists of coastal lowlands, mountains, valleys and coastal hills. Rich
agricultural land the inhabitants cultivate bananas, coffee, cocoa, rice,
soybeans, sugar cane and tropical fruits.
The region in the different Costa
Rica resorts such as coastal beaches also forests where tourists can enjoy
nature. You can also visit the churches, museums and historical centers of
different cities of the coast. The climate is warm and rainy.
In the coastal region is where the
adventure is at hand. Because they can practice different extreme sports such
as swimming, surfing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, scuba diving,
volleyball on the sand of the beaches. The gastronomy is always the sea food as
it is typical food of the Coast
